The Garden Route is a natural garden with Fynbos (an evergreen heath shrub land contributing a staggering 8000 species to the Fynbos Floral Kingdom), indigenous forest (60 000 hectare of natural forest with yellowwood, stinkwood to name but a few).

Day 1: Cape Town to Oudtshoorn

• Depart from Cape Town and surrounding areas and transfer to Oudtshoorn via Route 62
• Transfer past beautiful winelands villages such as Paarl, Worcester, Robertson, Montagu, Barrydale, Ladismith and Calitzdorp
• Visit to the Cango Wildlife Ranch
• Visit to the Cango Caves
• Overnight in an Oudtshoorn hotel or guest house

Day 2: Oudtshoorn to Knysna

• Transfer from Oudtshoorn to Knysna passing George, Wilderness, Sedgefield and the Swartvlei Lakes
• Optional cruise trip on the Knysna Lagoon - Visit the Featherbed Nature Reserve
• Free time in the beautiful town of Knysna
• Overnight in a Knysna hotel or guest house

Day 3: Knysna and Plettenberg Bay

• Visit the Garden of Eden on your way to Plettenberg Bay
• Optional visit to Monkeyland near Plettenberg Bay
• Plettenberg Bay - some free time at the beach or shopping
• Overnight in a Knysna hotel or guest house

Day 4: Knysna to Cape Town via Mossel Bay

• Visit Mossel Bay and see the Bartholomeus Diaz Museum and Caravelle
• Return transfer to Cape Town past the towns of Albertinia, Riversdale, Swellendam, Caledon and Somerset West
