Wine and Safari - two of the most amazing activities that you can indulge on while on holiday in South Africa.
We now offer you this 3 Day / 2 Night (you also have the option to add additional nights on this package) Wine and Safari Tour on a fully guided or self-drive basis.
Please note that this is not a Big 5 safari experience – you will mostly experience antelope species.
  
The Winelands of the Cape is one of the most special places in the wine world and you can now enjoy one incredible day tasting your way through at least one of the most visited wine growing regions in South Africa.
Add to this an overnight stay at one of the Cape’s hidden safari and gourmet gems and you have a delightful couple of days ahead of you.
  
The Itinerary
On your first day you will be collected from your hotel or guest house in the Cape Winelands on a Full Day Guided Wine Tour.
South Africa produces some of the best wines of any New World wine producing country.
We will take you to estates that offer truly mouth-watering wines and experiences.
To tailor-make this experience for you, you have the option of enjoying this full day guided tour in either a small group or on a private tour basis.
The following morning you will depart the beautiful Winelands for your safari lodge.
This is a drive that should take us no more than 2 hours in total.
Upon your arrival you will have some time to refresh and unpack – perhaps even enjoy a light lunch.
The afternoon you will depart on your safari drive where you will experience many of the great antelope species as well as amazing flora indigenous to this part of the country.
Upon return you will have time to freshen up, enjoy a glass (or two) of wine and enjoy a delightful dinner.
The next morning you will rise early for your morning drive activity after which you will enjoy possibly the best brunch known to man.
After check out you will return to either the airport for your flight OR to Cape Town / Winelands for the next part of your holiday.
  
Guided or Self-Drive?
This is totally up to you although your Full Day Wine Tour will be a guided tour as you don’t want to drink and drive.
Depending on your onward travel plans (which we will discuss with you) we can advise you on which option might be better suited to you.

Although this package is available 12 months of the year depending on the accommodation availability, we do recommend that you consider this package between the months of May to September when it is the South African off season (winter).
It is just so amazing and cosy to do this in winter.
